86th Annual Rice Family Reunion
Wednesday, August 14th, 2019, through Sunday, August 18th, 2019
Greetings from the St. Louis Chapter! It’s that time again and we are actively planning “The 86th Annual Rice Family Reunion” which will be held in St. Charles, MO a northwestern suburb of St. Louis. We are planning what hopes to be a memorable reunion.
We have chosen The Embassy Suites St. Charles as the headquarter hotel for the Reunion. It completed a full renovation in March of 2018. Each room is a two-room suite (single king or two double beds) with a wet bar, refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker, sofa sleeper, and two televisions. There is a complimentary local shuttle that runs on demand within a 3 mile radius of the hotel. Sites include Historic St. Charles, Streets of St. Charles, Ameristar Casino and Hollywood Casino Amphitheatre and St. Louis is only minutes away with more tourist attractions. There is also complimentary parking. It’s close to St. Louis Lambert International Airport being just 7 miles away. Lastly, there is a complimentary fully cooked to order breakfast each morning and an evening reception with complimentary alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks.
The rate is $139/night. Their address is Embassy Suites, Two Convention Center Plaza, St. Charles, MO 63303; Phone: (636) 946-5544. Use the following web link to make hotel reservations:
We have set-up a PayPal and Cash App account as options to pay for registration fees and t-shirts.
The theme for this year’s reunion is Bridging the Gap.
The Friday Night Ball will be held at All Occasions Banquet Center just under 4 miles from the Embassy Suites. For the Ball we are going with a “70’s theme” so we ask that you dress in what was fashionable in the 1970’s. From the words of the late Don Cornelius (host of Soul Train), “YOU CAN BET YA LAST MONEY, IT’S GONNA BE A STONE GAS HONEY.” Oh yeah! We’re going to have a good time!
In closing, our request is simple. Please plan to attend and encourage other family members and friends to attend also!
Please submit a request through this page if you have any additional questions or concerns.
